MUHAMMED KEBIR YAKUBU

B.Sc, MSC, MBA, ACII Lon, CIP Lon, FIIN, FCIB (M.D/C.E.O) 
A Consultant and Chartered Insurance Practitioner,
Mr. Yakubu is a graduate of insurance from the University of Lagos.
He also holds an MBA (Management) from the Rivers State 
University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.
Mr. Yakubu who taught insurance briefly at Anambra State University
of Science and Technology, had practical insurance training
in the Fire and Engineering Department of Phoenix of Nigeria
Assurance Company Ltd. He had a brief stint in investment banking
when he joined Merchant Bank of Africa in1993. In 1994, he returned
back to insurance industry when he joined the Industrial and General
Insurance Company as the anchor man in the Banking and Financial
Institutions Marketing Group. An astute insurance technocrat, until
recently, Mr. Yakubu was the head of Oil and Energy group of
Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc.
